I want to do a competition, yet I have no idea what to do the competition on.

It's just SMW is mainly a competition based blog, right? And seeing as I've been a follower for forever and a day, it doesn't feel right to see the comment numbers going down just because Jenna's not around. I want her to see the blog in the same state she left it in when she comes back. 

Oh, and for those of you who are wondering...

I know I'm hosting a Beauty Competition which I'm meant to be judging, but I've had so much on my plate with real life (exams, weddings and it's Easter, so who doesn't want a break from school? xD) and also with Stardoll-especially my current projects. 

So to make it simpler, I've decided to give the prizes together, therefore I know I'll be able to complete the judging on time :D

So...

Any ideas on what to do a competition on?

I was thinking of a sort of treasure hunt around Stardoll, but what do you think?

(Winning idea[s] receive[s] $20sd, too!) Prize for the actual competition will be based on what the competition in itself is.

Oh, and the more observant of you will have noticed that Stardoll's Most Wanted has reached 5000 followers!! 

I know Jenna's the one that usually does the raffles-and her being extremely generous, she'd give out over $5000sd probably! :P-but she's not here, and this deserves something special to commemorate the event. So, if you want to win $100sd, then just sign your name in comments and you're automatically entered in to the raffle!!

I know I'll get some [anonymous] critics going "You're trying to be Jenna", well, I'm not. I just want this blog to be  active again, as I'm sure some of you are probably a bit bored without some competitions to keep you entertained, and seeing as Ruth's done quite a few polls, I decided I'd do a comp and raffle. I know I'm not Jenna-and I'm not trying to be her or replace her.

Hey SMW Followers and readers! How's ya day been? Can you believe it's Wednesday already? o.O 

Well, in today's spoilers, we have a new Dot collection coming soon. It's a mix of warm and cold colours, which means it's probably Spring inspired ;) Are you going to buy any and make your MeDoll look beautiful?

I hate to see the blog go downhill while Jenna's not here, so here's a lil comp to get all you followers waiting for a comp back in to action!

Now, for this competition, you have two choices. Seeing as Dot was in spoilers, it's what's inspired the comp. So...

Your options are:

1. What does beauty mean to you? Write a few words on what you think beauty means, and what you have to do to be beautiful.
2. Create a beautiful MeDoll! Give yourself a makeover-can be done in Starplaza-or give it to one of your friends by accessing their Beauty Parlor. Then, post the link in comments (I'll risk it :P) and write a few sentences about why you chose that look. It's the make-up you'll be judged on, not the outfit!

RULES:

1. You must be a public follower of SMW.
2. You must post with your BLOGGER ACCOUNT.
3. You can only enter ONCE with ONE option. You can't submit more than one entry.
4. I know you usually have to be a member of the club Hotbuys_Bazaar, but seeing as Jenna's been away for a week (We miss you! xoxo) she may not have accepted pending requests, so it's not a rule this time.

What is Valentine's day without our traditional theme day comp? Not much I say...

VALENTINE'S THEME DAY

Create the perfect outfit for Valentine's day. Be creative.

Here are the guidelines:

* It should be Valentine's Day colors (like red, pink, white etc..)
* Use minishop (furniture), clothes... whatever and save medoll in your suite

* YOUR MEDOLL MUST BE WEARING THE OUTFIT WHEN WE VISIT YOUR SUITE BETWEEN FEB 14th - 15th
(please keep on until MIDNIGHT on the 15th USA EST [NYC TIME])!

Please do not sign up if you do not intend on doing it. It is time consuming to visit people's suites. It is best to do the outfit in advance so you do not forget. Thanks!

you can do this utilizing anything in your suite, suite shop, album, scenery, starplaza etc.. Creativity is the key, BUT NO PHOTOSHOP!

So, last year we had a great comp where you had to make a Valentine's Themed Collage showing all the things you loved about Stardoll. It was really fun to judge and I wanted to so it again.

~Put in it all the people, things, clothes etc.. you love about Stardoll! You can use whatever you want. Try to incorporate some Valentine's colors, shapes or items into your collage as well.

I actually saw this movie is theaters awhile ago when it was released in the USA with my baby sis. It was very cute, but I didn't like the ending :P

Those of you who were a part of our blog last year will remember this lovely banner created by our very talented John2_el_mejor!!! It's gorgeous, but a new year calls for a new banner!

So, I thought this year, I would turn this into a competition.. IF we get enough entries! I know everyone is not so talented in photoshop art, but a lot of you are or have friends who are. So get the word out there about this comp and please make a little time to do it as I love to see all the entries!!!
