We would just like to have some quick feedback on the lottery so far!

PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING:

We want to know whether the price works for most people, or if you think it's too expensive. Do you think every week is too much or should it be every other week or once a month even. A less frequent lotto may allow people more time to save up money. Do you think it is unfair to allow up to 5 votes? Tell us in the poll and explain in comments..please :) But first...

WHY WE DO IT THIS WAY:

Part of the reason we made the amount $5 is because it costs money to buy and sell the tickets (shirts). Each shirt costs us a minimum of $4. So if we charge less there is no money to go into the pool. It is just all coming out of our pockets. $5 allows us to at least make $1 for the lottery on each ticket.

It also makes it great because both SS and NS can easily earn $5 a  day by doing play and earn and it doesn't have to come out of your own stardollars.

As for having a maximum of 5 tickets. It not only gives people the chance to increase their chances of winning, but allows us to make bigger and better lotteries....because there is more money coming into the lottery pool. It is better that people buy all there tickets at once so we only use 1 shirt and the profit is greater. Ex: If someone buys 5 tickets and we sell 1 $4 item our profit is $21 instead of only $1 on each item sold.

We could limit people to 1 ticket, but then we would have to increase the price. USD and other blogs sell donation tees for $8sd. 

This is the same reason that you have to pay the SD tax. If SD tax on 1 shirt is $1 and we were to sell the item so you are charged $5 in bazaar instead of the $6 you see with the tax. We wouldn't make any money for the lottery at all as we would only get $4....which is the price of the shirt.

With this in mind....

THE STARDOLL LOTTERY- CLARIFYING INFORMATION

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thank you so much for buying the lotto tickets and participating in the first weekly lotto event.

Also, I wanted to go over a few of the guidelines to make this run a little more smoothly since there seems to be some confusion.

~Please READ~

1. You must request to buy tickets at either STARDOLL-LOTTO or JENNAROX4EVA accounts.

See Original posts for items available: Click HERE.

               ~Just leave a gb comment saying how many tickets you wish to purchase and if there is a specific lottery item you would like, you may state it then. If not you will be given our shirt or tights.

               ~We will then let you know when it is up for sale.

               ~ After making your purchase, please leave a confirmation message for the number of tickets you bought in a the GB, It is just one more step to make sure all is clear. We will also confirm that your name has been enter per the number of tickets you purchased.

2. Please DO NOT buy tickets from our Starbazaar's that you did not request. That means you would be purchasing the tickets someone else requested.

*It not only messes up the person who was expecting their item to be there, but us. As stardesign is being a bit glitchy and sometimes it takes awhile for us to get an item to show for sale.

3. PLEASE if you request a ticket come back to purchase it asap. It just helps make more money available for the lotteries.

4. REMEMBER you can only purchase a MAXIMUM of 5 tickets each week.
This increases your chances of winning, however doesn't make it impossible for others who purchased less tickets to win also. So please do not purchase more than $25sd as you can only be entered 5 times.

5. You do not receive a physical ticket or number.
Your name is entered into out lotto application per the number of tickets you purchase. Ex: You bought 5 tickets, we enter your name 5 times.

6. The winner will be announced here on this blog on Monday and also on the Official Stardoll Lottery Blog.

YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER OF THIS BLOG AND THE OFFICIAL LOTTERY BLOG TO ENTER.

*If you purchase a ticket and are not, another winner will be selected.

Hello SMW readers! I'm sure most of you know about the Stardoll Lottery this blog will present! Jenna has made a post about the lottery as well as putting the logo on top of this blog. I would like to say thanks to Jenna for letting me write on this blog as well as giving us tips and suggestions, and credit to Carleit who came up with the idea. 

The prizes for this week's lottery are:

SS - $1,000sd!

NON SS - Two $300sd superstar codes!

So, as you can tell, we have some pretty great prizes!

Here are some questions with answers (If you have a specific question and don't feel like looking for it.. press CTRL and F and type in your question to find what you're looking for.):

1. How much are tickets?

Tickets are now only 5 stardollars each!

2. How many tickets can I buy?

You can only buy a maximum of 5 tickets each lottery.

3. Why can I only buy 5 tickets?

You can only buy 5 tickets because some members of 

stardoll are less fortunate. It's not fair that they buy about 2 tickets, and you

buy 100 tickets. There will be a clear winner. We just want everything to be fair and just.

4. How do I join the lottery/buy tickets?

To join the lottery you must be apart of this blog. 
It will help to also join the official Stardoll

Lottery blog. 

Then you go into STARDOLL-LOTTO'S guest book and ask for how many tickets you want.

This week only, you can also go to JENNAROX4EVA's guest book.  Jenna (Emorox4eva) has created a number of lotto items that are also being sold in exchange for lottery tickets. 

We will put the stardoll lottery item for stardollars depending on how much tickets you want. (EX. If you want 5 tickets, we put something up for 25 stardollars since tickets are 5 stardollars each.)

5. Is the shirt for the lottery always going to be the same? 

We've had a few questions along with insults on the shirt. No, the shirt

will not be the same. We are always working on a new pattern/design for our lottery.

6. Do we only win stardollars/ss codes in the lottery?

No, we do not only give out stardollars and ss codes, we will also be giving out

rares to SS, and NON SS with over 500 starpoints.

7. Can I ask for tickets in your main account's guestbooks? Why or why not?

No you cannot buy tickets in our main account's guestbooks. We want you all to 

buy tickets in our official stardoll lottery account (stardoll-lotto) or at Jennarox4eva (this week only). In the future it will be only the Stardoll-Lotto account and this is because with 3 people on different accounts working on the lottery, things turn into a hassle. So, PLEASE do not ask for tickets in our main account's guestbooks! :)

8. Do you have any other stardoll lottery accounts?

No, we do not. Stardoll-Lotto is the only one we have. If there are 

others claiming to be apart of the lottery, or claiming to be us they are 100% lying to you. Be careful!

9. When do the lotteries start?

The lotteries start every Wednesday. The lottery will be a weekly thing.

10. When does the lottery end? When is the winner going to be announced?

The lotteries end on Sunday, and the winners are announced on Monday.

11. How do we know that the winner has been announced?

We will post updates on SMW and the stardoll lottery blog. Carleit will also be posting on this blog Sunday to let everyone know it is the last day to purchase tickets.

12. How does this lottery work?

Carleit, Jenna, and I will keep track of your names and how many

tickets you have purchased. Your names will be entered in 'The Magic Hat' depending on how many tickets you buy. (EX: Lets say you bought 5 tickets, your name will be entered 5 times.) We will then put the magic hat to work and we get our random winner. :)

13. How long does the winner have to contact you?

The winner has 24 hours to contact us at Stardoll-Lotto. If for any reason you

need us to hold your prize, you must tell us and your prize will be reserved.

SMW INTRODUCES THE NEW STARDOLL LOTTERY

To kick off READER'S APPRECIATION WEEK, 

SMW has joined forces with a new project called

The Stardoll Lottery..created by Larsa_gurl and Carleit and now with the help of yours truly we will be able to offer you amazing prizes and opportunities exclusive to SMW!

This is really very exciting and I hope you all will enjoy it. Each Wednesday we will have a lottery. The amounts and prizes can vary based on the amount of tickets sold.. In order to be in the lottery you will need to be a follower of this blog. You should also be a follower of the stardoll lottery blog to make sure you are getting every update.

In order to participate in the lottery you must buy a ticket. Tickets will go on sale Wed and are inexpensive and easily affordable to all. Larsa will make a post on Wed as to where you can purchase them and the full details. Each person who purchases a ticket is then put in to a lottery application.
